dramafest was exhilarating xD but super super tiring.
all the sec two classes did really well, and 211 got audience's choice and
202 is the Best Play 2009 (: congratulations. i can't really remember, but 'Letterbomb' by another class did well.
clarissa, me and the other ushers, crew, front-of-house got to the auditorium at 2pm as we had loa,
then changed and started folding programme booklets.
us ushers had a briefing by amanda see, then went back to work.
we all helped to make ribbons for the prizes and arrange the hampers' contents.
the sec ones took apart yuanming's arrangements every time and rearranged the goodies xD
then we helped amanda see wrap the prizes/hampers as janice went out with yuanming to buy flowers for mr nick ng and mdm oehlers.
i lent my thumbdrive to mr ng to use for the montage xD
we finished all this at about 5 or 6 i think, and went to get our dinner from the chicken rice stall in the canteen.
i ate like mad, i was so hungry. sat around with clarissa, denise, yanying and rachel low.
finished dinner and went back to the backstage to help out more.
we got another briefing and decided that i would be ushering the people upstairs with clarissa xD
carried our usher stuff up at around 6.34pm and clarissa tried hard to find her cousin who was coming, but couldn't find him.
she gave up and we prepared ourselves.
then, HOUSE OPEN! xD
people poured in like a river and i was quite slack, because the door i was guarding was the one
which led to the staffroom area which was freakishly dark and spooky, so only like, 1 person took that door - a nanyang girl.
clarissa had it alright, and we thought we were done for awhile, but then i don't know how many latecomers entered, and clarissa chiong-ed xD nice job clare.
during the intermission, i took the harder job of stamping hands of people going out,
so that clare could rest a bit and just ask people to take the left door out.
it was awkward stamping hands of boys, because i didn't know where i should hold their hands,
so that i could steady it as i stamped.
i grabbed their wrists most of the time, and unfortunately, not many wore long sleeves as i had hoped.
so i stamped stamped stamped, then chased them back in 10 minutes later.
the little boys who had come to watch - primary school students - were really cute xD
the other half of the show finished, then the audience had to fill in their choices on the papers.
so clare and i handed out pencils, and this group of morons really irritated me.
there were 4 or 5 of them, but they took one less pencil than required although i offered,
so they took longer, because the one who didn't take a pencil had to wait for his friends.
fine, i waited.
then he took 3 whole long minutes to fill in the numbers 1-3 for his favourite plays.
when i finally brought the papers down with clare to count, i realized he had written 1-7 on his paper! D: moron. pabo.
then we counted like mad backstage as the montage played - clare, me, amanda s., beth and cheryl y.
we got scolded like mad by amanda as we weren't organized enough and there was a time constraint.
finally finished - 211 was the favourite xD
clare and i rushed back up for duty again. it was 10.14pm already.
prizes were given out, and the performers who had come in on the second floor with their complimentary tickets screamed and screamed, irritating some of the bored and tired audience, especially chuyin and gang - the basketball team. poor things.
screamed with clare when 211 and 202 were announced as audience's choice and best play 2009 respectively.
at 10.30pm, the show was over, and the sec twos went to the first floor of the audi to have a debrief.
theatre club - us! - cleared out the props, bags, shoes, rubbish, cleaned the stage, checked all holding areas and got a couple of abrasions :O
then it was our debrief - at 10.40pm.
mr nick ng commended us, and teresa was crying.
he said that we had to have a cca camp xD olalalahh, happy happy.
then we left.
rushed out to find dad - never had i felt so happy to leave school!
he was waiting till he had fallen asleep with the coke i asked him to get for me,
because i was dying of thirst.
i threw all my things in the back and clambered into the car.
ate a red bean bun and drank coke, then fell asleep.
reached home around 11.30pm due to the jam and i went to bathe, so i finished at 11.45pm and went to bed xD

but once again, the song title is MEANINGLESS.
i don't know her name, but the girl with the headphones and the two ponytails - not plaits,
is my favourite, she's really nice and cute xD

today - super tired.
there was basically class montage, level closure, and a closing ceremony.
got back our report books.
then we went to 106's classroom to see lilaoshi.
celebrated october/november/december birthdays.
lilaoshi is leaving! D: but i'm not that upset, i feel the same as her,
although she's leaving, she'll still be there for us, to talk, to listen, to help.
she's alive and kickin', she will be alright.
we have to learn to let go.
