dramafest '09

so today was the amazing second day of the semi-finals for dramafest '09.

it was pretty much like yesterday, but i knew my way around better and what to do,

so i wasn't as blur as before.

i think i've learned loads about how a show is prepared, and it was a brilliant experience to have(: the adrenaline before and after a show feels amazing.

congratulations to the classes who got into the finals,

the only ones i remember out of the seven finalists are

2/11, "Boomz"

2/02, "Dreamchild"

Boomz by 2/11 was utterly hilarious, but not suitable as a drama as it's more like a skit,

but i bet the scriptwriter could probably write a great sitcom xD

super exhausted after the ushering - my hips and feet ached, because i stood for too long.

clarissa and i got a little mad afterwards, outside the auditorium before debrief.

we spinned topsy turvy, then tickled each other (:

oh yeah, just remembered.

i shall reveal them now - god i feel emo.

language arts was alright, i got shitty marks for literary response and my summary,

overall should be around 70, A2.

chinese was shocking, i was happy :D

i got my first B3 - 65 exactly, but i have SIA to pull me up.

science was a total bummer - i mean it.

i failed both physics and biology. when i got back my biology results - 7/20,

i almost cried out loud in the lecture theatre;

thanks to cass, yeexien, clarissa for your encouragement, i love you.

my chemistry was the one that pulled up everything, it was so easy - 18/20

my mcq was 31/40, so overall - 65 exactly, B3, but there's brp to pull up the marks.

geography - flunked. completely.

23.5/50, D7, added with history - 30/50, B4, overall - 53.5, C6, my fps (A1) will pull up (:

it dc-ed 3 or 4 times during audition already. ryna is pissed with me :x sob.

and it was in the middle of stupid 1 2 party, which i suck at, and have no idea how to play.

darn it. i know what's 'go' in 1 2 party, but what's 'yeah'? D: wah wah wah.

anyway. just realized that it's super easy to level up in audition.

it took me near 10 tries, and when i finally downloaded it, the installation had an error.

just read the last thing on my 'events' section, and now i feel incredibly horrible inside.

audition for dsp entertainment - something that will never happen.

i will probably have to beg my dad a little, then maybe he will support me,

but my mum will never agree to it. never.

'a doctor' - that's probably all she'll want me to be.

not a dancing, singing and probably dieting entertainer living in another country,

working her butt off to make a living, sleeping at irregular hours.

she wouldn't want to have that.

then i'll cry. and cry. and one day, i will give up, and allow myself to continue being a puppet.

this is how i see it will turn out if i tell my parents about my dream.

my mum has controlled everything - my hair, my clothes, my choice of secondary school, my ideal psle aggregate, my goals.

i realized this when a relative of mine asked me, 'what secondary school do you want to go to?'

i could not answer. all i got was 'nanyang' and 'raffles'. they weren't my ideal schools.

(not that ny isn't great now, but back then it wasn't what i had wanted.)

that night, i could not sleep.

sheesh. why do i let myself go like that.

i should smile. the exams are over.

i should smile. i have my books, which i cannot live without.

i should smile, for i have a roof over my head, sufficient food, and an education.

i've found a fairly credible language school with holiday classes, but they cost quite a bit.

i think it's $250 for 2.5months, which is like 10 lessons.

and the lesson's on saturday, so i have to find another class. phooey.

i feel bad that it's 'illegal', so i'm gonna look for it when i go to korea.

ahahaha, EOYs are O.V.E.R. C:

had a cca briefing today regarding dramafest which lasted till 11am from 9.15am, when we finished maths paper.

i couldn't stop grinning when it ended; cheryl heng thought i had lost it.

so since i was uber late, zhixin and sally went off to bugis junction first D: oh poo.

then they changed, ate (withoutme), when to kinokuniya (withoutme) and found super expensive SS501 magazines in it (withoutme) xD

when i reached i found them - zhixin with her hair down, in white shorts + a black mickey mouse top,

and sally with a green tee and shorts (forgot the colour) :D

then i changed, and apologized madly to them for making them wait for like 2-3 hours.

i changed in a navy green tee with my 'pointe' top over it (omgilovemypointetop) and beige brown shorts C:

we went to take neoprints, which ended up a mess because then decorating machine was faulty.

so we took it again - $22 just flew away, but it was worth it, because the second batch was yeuppeunde :D

then we walked, ate mcflurry& flavour bursts from macdee, bought juice at cold storage (zx)

got uber bored, then went to food court so that i could eat.

ate beef noodles, let zhixin steal my soup, then we decided maybe we should go to plaza singapura because we were so bored by bugis, but then we found the arcade downstairs - virtualand,

and got addicted to dance dance revolution, which zhixin calls para para for some reason.

para para is the hands version of ddr.

splurged loads of money on it, then sally had to leave for jap class, so zhixin and i were left.

we play one last round of ddr, bought drinks at rockery (omgrockery)

and then went to walk in the mini shops in bugis which were really cute.

i liked the tie shop :D really really nice.

then - aha! - we went to central lending library and spent like 2 hours plus

just reading after we took about 5 minutes to choose some.

there's a great series of manga we found called chocolat (yes, chocolat, no wrong spelling),

which i recommend for all people with idols.

so we read, listened to music, read some more, went to the toilet once in a while, then read C:

finished up, borrowed the remaining books and left at 5.55pm to head back to bugis.

walked around, stoned, and crapped happily, then i bought some teriyaki chicken.

we went to the mrt station together, where i purposely missed the train once (zx took the other platform)

so that i could waste time cos' my dad was picking me up at lavender station, which was hana station away.

got there exactly on the dot, my dad fetched me and bye - i went home (lol.)

i envy zhixin so much - she went off for her korean class at her cc (:

she's gonna let me photocopy her notes on tuesday.

OMG tuesday - results! plus wednesday as well. *worried worried*

screwed up part (a) of Qn 12 in math paper 1, and when i asked my mum to solve it to show me,

i realized it was super easy and i was an utter dumbass.

okay. so i am here again. what a loser.

i'm doing the math questions my mum has given me while i type this so it should take a while.

i asked her for questions for expansion and factorisation, so she gave me me some,

plus _______ secondary school's sec 2 math paper, and a whole paper set by her.

i am going to die.

just saw the sm entertainment auditions 2009 promotion video on youtube,

i am about to kill myself. i want to go so badly, but i can't, because

1. i suck at singing and dancing, basically entertainment - sm ENTERTAINMENT.

2. my mum would kill me, because i am in the middle of schooling.

3. i don't want to stop schooling anyway.

4. the auditions are in USA D:

-sob- maybe someday, because my dad is ok with it,

but he has the same thinking as me - get a degree first, as a safety net, like insurance xD

so yeah.

by the way, i need someone to sing with me for an english cover i will be doing after exams.

it's Gee :D i need somebody to harmonize with me. anyone?

bumped my head really hard today.

it had one huge bruise just now, but cass, yeexien and clarissa got me an ice bag

which fixed the problem C: thanks a lot guys.

anyway, it's 5 days away from the first EOY paper - Language Arts.

everyone in class is freaking out, especially shiying and clarissa.

the worst thing is that you cannot study anything for LA

except the SEE format and SPECS & SLIMS, plus go through all your worksheets.

to all 111s :

jiayou! (: don't panic ok? just leng3 jing4 and try your best to complete the paper.

don't give yourself extra stress, sleep enough, drink loads of water,

and take care of your health. i'm sure we can do well, like in the first half of the year,

where everyone got B4 and above! :D
