well, i'm bored out of my wits right now, watching my obsessed brother and my dad

play Godzilla on the xbox ._. i would play, but i hate getting trashed my my brother.

jay was online today, after quite a few days of hiatus :D

he's downloading audition now, LaughOutLoud, it's gonna take him at least 8 more hours.

still considering whether to buy the acash, 'cause if i change my name,

there'll be only 5020 acash left, that's probably enough to buy another two facial expressions,

and that's about it - really anti-climax.

currently letting myself read what zhixin always reads - teen love stories,

but i call them trashy romance novels, godknowswhy zhixin reads that trash.

i'm only reading them 'cause it's a good break for my mind from all the literature stuff,

especially since i'm reading Ishiguro's book at the same time.

reading this series called 'The Ashleys', it's not bad, but very dramatic,

like a taiwanese drama serial, or gossip girl.

exactly the kind of crap zhixin likes ...

aigoo that silly girl.

bought my winter stuff, now i have what they call the 'underwear',

but it's actually like my pjs, just really warm and beige,

and i'm supposed to wear it first before donning the rest of my stuff.

also got some really thick socks to bring along with my colourful stripey socks.

my grandma has already knitted hats and scarves for herself, me, my mum, and my brother,

so i don't need to worry too much about that area.

my grandpa and dad rejected her offer to knit them some.

anyway the company is kindly providing gloves and coats/jackets,

but i need to get some proper shoes, my dad says that canvas shoes won't work.

and i got a pair of secondhand gloves and a scarf from my dad's nurse's daughter (:

i got a cardigan and other nice stuff from her before.

my mum and grandma want me to trim/cut my hair before the trip,

it's getting thick and messy, and since my fringe is getting longer,

the bit where i have wavy hair is sticking out D:

so i shall jian bao and trim my fringe, maybe cut it such that it's more like

taemin's ex-mushroom head C:

seems like clare has fallen and i quote, 'accidentally in love'.

LaughOutLoud, i doubt it's true, probably just a quote from someplace.

omg it's true! :D i just asked her.

poor thing, she's at a loss as to what to do.

must be 'cause we've stayed away from boys for a tad too long.

dang, do we need to get a life! time to go out a little more and meet new people.

i just recalled this stupid thing. there's this new korean boy group (sorry crystal!) called MBLAQ,

and it was mentioned on Music Bank what the acronym stands for.

i laughed my head off, okay? it was utterly ridiculous and stupid.

MBLAQ is an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality.

The group was created by Rain, LaughOutLoud ._. (sorry rain.)

the cosplay outfits sold on the blogshops cost freaking bombs,

each them is at least S$99, unless the quality isn't very good.

and if i wanna play sasuke, i want the leg bandages! they are really nice C:

i shall just ask my dad's friend - he told me she custom-makes the costumes.

getting really lazy to skin, it's such a drag.

but i shall try to do one today, maybe a little later, since i've already got the resources ready.

this one will be kinda of plain, cause it will be all mainly white, especially the background.

been working hard at the Chocolate Love dance, and i'm quite pleased with my progress,

considering that i was learning watching a low quality and fan-cammed video

that was taken during a promotion somewhere of the LG Chocolate,

so it was really dark with stupid red lights flashing about, and i couldn't see f(x)'s limbs very well,

since they were all donning black outfits.

shall go and ask my dad about the cosplay thing.

i'm really kinda interested (lol, a weird degree of interest), and since my dad knows

this daughter of a patient of his who sells cosplay outfits,

i probably can get some discount for whatever i'm buying (i hope!).

or if it's too expensive, i could ask teresa for help, i guess C:

problem is, i can't choose which character to cosplay.

Choice #1 : Kozue from Mahoraba - the girl with blue hair.

She's a simple schoolgirl, so the costume won't be too embarassing except maybe the skirt,

and it won't be like the fighting characters with all the weapons,

but probably NOBODY will know who the heck i am, so there's not much point, is there?

Choice #2 : Misa from Deathnote

She's a nice character to play, again with no weapons, but her outfits are a bit revealing,

so i'm not really up for it, although i heard that teresa did a good job

with this character during AFA. Teresa jjang! :D

Choice #3 : Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club

Very simple costume, but difficult to pull off unless i posses the features of haruhi,

so this is unlikely.

Choice #4 : Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto

yes, this is very much a male character, but it would but fun to play him, no?

i like his outfit - it's has pants that are a little shorter than 3 quarts.

i think that's about it. i was considering sakura from naruto, but i hate pink.

something hit me when i was walking home from piano class, without my earphones,

so i guess that's one reason why i could get it - a clear head.

all the trials and tribulations, they aren't things you just cry about,

they aren't events you can use as a beginning for a conversation with a new friend,

they aren't just anger-causing, tear-jerking incidents that you wish to forget.

they make help you mature, they teach you things that will guide you to live your life,

they let you understand new things - things you probably wouldn't learn if you live a perfect life.

you understand that you are just having a puppy love/crush when you realize

that you can let go easily after he dumps you, picking yourself up.

if you know that you really do love him, you pick yourself 'cause you love yourself,

you respect your body and mental health, and you don't let yourself fall so easily.

you learn to avoid mentioning things to your parents at certain times,

after you get a huge scolding about saying something that 'causes you to cry and slam your door.

you get angry, but you learn, you cry but you gain maturity.

so don't be upset that you don't have a perfect life,

be happy that you have an imperfect one.

hell yeah, i'm thankful i got that today - i really appreciate life now.

apologies for the horrible quality, this was the best i could find.

this is my second favourite dance - A New Day Has Come, Celine Dion.

the choreographer is this lovely middle-aged man who has a daughter

who is immobile due to a certain syndrome she was born with.

movement makes her really really happy.

when the choreographer heard this beautiful song, he was so touched,

and so this beautiful dance was created, the whole point of it being to make the lovely girl smile.

i almost cried when i heard about this, then i really cried when i watched the dance.

it was so touching, the beauty.

please enjoy, bring some joy.

but this time it was not just a random crash, but it was due to the stupid telephone.

my phone filter has issues. i'm gonna boomz it along with the modem when we get new ones.

bought my book - "Never Let Me Go", by Kazuo Ishiguro C:

he's a pretty good writer who writes books that are easier to digest

than some of the other jap writers.

some of the jap writers use so many chim words, like they're trying to show of their vocabulary.

sick sick sick. some sg writers who i shall not mention do that too.

btw, i just recalled that i cried during 2012.

thank god yh and ws didn't notice - i tried hard not to sniffle too much.

gonna work on my math and such tomorrow afternoon after ballet,

then my stupid chinese assessment that i need to finish or my mum will kill me ;D

my audition just crashed - the last thing i saw was "program closed with hacking program".

WTF?! damn. i hope my account's safe.

if it's hacked, oh i can't imagine. >:

rynaa finally invited me to her blog - LaughOutLoud that girl.

decided that i shall use one of my skins for my blog.

it will most likely be the SHINee one, but i'll have to edit the skin so it'll fit my profile.

maybe it'll be my Gee skin, the one without a picture C:

spent half an hour drawing this thing on photoshop and it turned out well.

won't tell you what it is, but it'll be in my next blogskin, something really white and all.

it was supposed to be a navigational skin, but the skin screwed up,

to say that today was uneventful is an understatement.

got to kovan mrt at 12.05pm, then yuhe came - 15 minutes later ._.

we waited for - wait for it - 45 minutes before woei sheng called yuhe.

yuhe and i called him like 10 times each D:

ate old chang kee while i waited - yuhe ate nothing.

simwoeisheng said he would reach in 30 minutes,

so yh and i just walked around heartland mall separately.

i bought my bubble tea, then went to comics connection and spent 20 minutes in there.

then ws finally arrived and we went to kfc to let yuhe eat ._.

sheesh. but i got to steal cheese fries (:

mrt-ed to city hall and walked to marina square.

ws and yh wanted to bowl first, but there was a competition going on,

and it would only end at 4pm.

so we bought tix for 2012 - the 3.15pm show.

watched it after buying popcorn and drinks xD i got milo and caramel popcorn.

the show was really really good, it's basically about an ecological disaster

that throws the entire world into chaos.

the earth's crust starts to crack due to the earth's core destabilizing,

and the extinction for humanity becomes imminent.

geologist adrian finds this out from his good friend - another geologist - in India.

he informs the government, and a mad race begins to preserve mankind :D

it's presented from many different points of view, and characterization is good,

with some comic relief at certain areas that really crack people up.

8.5/10

the movie lasted for 3 hours okay? ._.

so by the time it ended - 6.15pm. i had to go home.

wth, go all the way to watch one movie and go home ...

yh and ws stayed to bowl, but walked me to the mrt first - i was really lost.

went to suntec today with my family,

and realized that there was an anime convention going on! xD

there were so many otakus dressed in their cosplay outfits!

the only one i recognized was kakashi sensei (is that how you spell it?) from Naruto <3

hahaha. there was this girl in a green wig with two ponytails

and the kind of mic that singers use during concerts xD impossibly cute.

i got kind of inspired to try out cosplay, so i'm gonna go look for outfits (;

i heard that teresa (my cca senior) cosplayed as a vampire knight character before ._.

she must've been really cute.

i wanna do haruhi from ouran high school host club! xD it will be super easy.

just short hair and a boy's high school uniform.

OMG, i just found out that ft island, t-max and the brown eyed girls are coming to singapore!

it's part of the Sundown Festival - Seoul'd Out 2009 xD

the festival's on 11 December, and the tix cost $85 if you buy at sistic, $100 at the fest itself.

this means i can't go, because i'll be in korea ...

i probably wouldn't be able to even if i was in singapore, the tix are so expensive!

i'm not a fan of eBooks, but this is the best option.

i dislike reading books on a piece of plastic screen; i prefer the feel of the woody smelly pages.

just met a really nice person in audition xD

he was using a noob account that was level 6, but his main was 50 or so,

and he played sync-4 battle party with me and another girl,

and we won like 29,000 to 39,000 dens per round, and it was mainly all his effort,

but he didn't care! (:

i was blown away by his character, somehow.

audition people tend to be selfish, like ME :O

but anyway thanks to HIS effort, i got MYSELF a pair of new shoes - ladybug flipflops.

okay, i just realized that SS501 will be on Star Golden Bell on next week's episode! xD

currently typing out my dumb speech on Word as i blog.

i rushed it out last night with dad, and it was pretty horrible until he helped me edit.

and i realized how much i HATE speeches - making them and listening to them.

but i learned how to drag the speech for time (;

when i read at my normal speed, it took me only 2.08minutes,

but then dad told me to read slower, and 'look' at the 'audience', so i did,

and guess what? 2.45 MINUTES.

cool or what? xD

the speech is okay, but i feel really strange saying it.

i keep messing up on the 'principal' and 'vice principal' bit;

i keep saying president, and vice president!

must be because of secondary school elections :O

if the students from the best class of 2009 do not pay attention to me,

I WILL KILL. this speech is taking a lot of my effort and time.

anyway, finally bought the beanie hair in audi after winning a few rounds of battle party xD

one round, i got 9000++ den! ahahaha. super high.

now saving up for this skirt that costs 200, 000 den.

decided not to buy @cash after much consideration. i would feel bad if i did.

i have bought SS501's latest album, Rebirth xD happy happy.

bought it yesterday at popular when i went out with zhixin and sally after having loads of fun

in the audio-visual room at kovan melody :D we sang loads of karaoke! ^O^

zhixin managed to buy the album too, after a lot of begging and saying *censored* when her mother refused at first x_x she should wash her mouth.

i'm too lazy to tell you in detail what happened yesterday.

oh man, i just realized how defiant and angry i can be.

and sherman today at hougang mall. neither noticed me xD happy happy.

they seem to be well. that's good.

going to level up in audition soon. hopefully the licensing won't be too difficult to pass,

i just made it for my last one.

the part of the story mode i'm doing is irritating.

i'm supposed to get 2nd for canon groove with these bunch of computer controlled players.

how am i supposed to do that? it's too easy to chain in canon groove ._. darn.

not going out on monday anymore. the consultation session with dr. carey lasts till 2pm, which is way too late to go out.

so we (sally, zhixin and i) are planning thursday or wednesday.

i wonder when is cca for this coming week.

there's batch outing on tuesday, to buy our sec fours' graduation gifts,

and the sec ones and half of the sec twos have to go to school on friday.

dramafest was exhilarating xD but super super tiring.

all the sec two classes did really well, and 211 got audience's choice and

202 is the Best Play 2009 (: congratulations. i can't really remember, but 'Letterbomb' by another class did well.

clarissa, me and the other ushers, crew, front-of-house got to the auditorium at 2pm as we had loa,

then changed and started folding programme booklets.

us ushers had a briefing by amanda see, then went back to work.

we all helped to make ribbons for the prizes and arrange the hampers' contents.

the sec ones took apart yuanming's arrangements every time and rearranged the goodies xD

then we helped amanda see wrap the prizes/hampers as janice went out with yuanming to buy flowers for mr nick ng and mdm oehlers.

i lent my thumbdrive to mr ng to use for the montage xD

we finished all this at about 5 or 6 i think, and went to get our dinner from the chicken rice stall in the canteen.

i ate like mad, i was so hungry. sat around with clarissa, denise, yanying and rachel low.

finished dinner and went back to the backstage to help out more.

we got another briefing and decided that i would be ushering the people upstairs with clarissa xD

carried our usher stuff up at around 6.34pm and clarissa tried hard to find her cousin who was coming, but couldn't find him.

she gave up and we prepared ourselves.

then, HOUSE OPEN! xD

people poured in like a river and i was quite slack, because the door i was guarding was the one

which led to the staffroom area which was freakishly dark and spooky, so only like, 1 person took that door - a nanyang girl.

clarissa had it alright, and we thought we were done for awhile, but then i don't know how many latecomers entered, and clarissa chiong-ed xD nice job clare.

during the intermission, i took the harder job of stamping hands of people going out,

so that clare could rest a bit and just ask people to take the left door out.

it was awkward stamping hands of boys, because i didn't know where i should hold their hands,

so that i could steady it as i stamped.

i grabbed their wrists most of the time, and unfortunately, not many wore long sleeves as i had hoped.

so i stamped stamped stamped, then chased them back in 10 minutes later.

the little boys who had come to watch - primary school students - were really cute xD

the other half of the show finished, then the audience had to fill in their choices on the papers.

so clare and i handed out pencils, and this group of morons really irritated me.

there were 4 or 5 of them, but they took one less pencil than required although i offered,

so they took longer, because the one who didn't take a pencil had to wait for his friends.

fine, i waited.

then he took 3 whole long minutes to fill in the numbers 1-3 for his favourite plays.

when i finally brought the papers down with clare to count, i realized he had written 1-7 on his paper! D: moron. pabo.

then we counted like mad backstage as the montage played - clare, me, amanda s., beth and cheryl y.

we got scolded like mad by amanda as we weren't organized enough and there was a time constraint.

finally finished - 211 was the favourite xD

clare and i rushed back up for duty again. it was 10.14pm already.

prizes were given out, and the performers who had come in on the second floor with their complimentary tickets screamed and screamed, irritating some of the bored and tired audience, especially chuyin and gang - the basketball team. poor things.

screamed with clare when 211 and 202 were announced as audience's choice and best play 2009 respectively.

at 10.30pm, the show was over, and the sec twos went to the first floor of the audi to have a debrief.

theatre club - us! - cleared out the props, bags, shoes, rubbish, cleaned the stage, checked all holding areas and got a couple of abrasions :O

then it was our debrief - at 10.40pm.

mr nick ng commended us, and teresa was crying.

he said that we had to have a cca camp xD olalalahh, happy happy.

then we left.

rushed out to find dad - never had i felt so happy to leave school!

he was waiting till he had fallen asleep with the coke i asked him to get for me,

because i was dying of thirst.

i threw all my things in the back and clambered into the car.

ate a red bean bun and drank coke, then fell asleep.

reached home around 11.30pm due to the jam and i went to bathe, so i finished at 11.45pm and went to bed xD

here's f(x)'s new song - i'm gonna download it later, it's pretty nice,

but once again, the song title is MEANINGLESS.

i don't know her name, but the girl with the headphones and the two ponytails - not plaits,

is my favourite, she's really nice and cute xD

today - super tired.

there was basically class montage, level closure, and a closing ceremony.

got back our report books.

then we went to 106's classroom to see lilaoshi.

celebrated october/november/december birthdays.

lilaoshi is leaving! D: but i'm not that upset, i feel the same as her,

although she's leaving, she'll still be there for us, to talk, to listen, to help.

she's alive and kickin', she will be alright.

we have to learn to let go.

wtf is this?! now i can't show sally the birthday video (see earlier post) D:

anyway, i was just recalling Chocolat - this manga that i'm obsessed with,
'cause the last chapter of the last volume that i've read was so >:O
how could kumji just fall for stupid e wan so easily! D:
i'm not happy kumji, not happy.

what about barbie? your crazy aunt and her boyfriend? e wan's fans?
WHAT ABOUT E SOH?! how could you confess? sheesh.

going to watch howl's moving castle later, 'cause i didn't sign up for any craft workshop, :D

will be tiring, but worth it!

had interclass competition today xD it was super fun, but super tiring.

each class was allocated into three groups to play softball, soccer and handball.

i chose soccer earlier, so i got in (:

a certain class we played with in soccer was uber unfair, but i shan't elaborate, i shall be nice.

i feel somewhat guilty because we seemed to be leaving out some people in the team

because we felt there was a lack of skills.

it was nice anyway, and i shall count it as we won 2 out of 6 soccer matches.

our handball and softball teams did super well, and the handball team got into the finals xD

our softball team could have gotten in too, but they were handicapped by a certain someone,

who, again, i shall not mention, to be nice.

wanshi and anabella were super super pissed by her.

anyway, our handball team won the finals, so we were champs for the handball section xD

happy happy. really thankful that we have so many basketballers in class.

xinyu is a good defender xD she's in netball cca!

screamed 'one eleven!' *clap clap clap clap clap* till my voice was totally gone.

hahaha, couldn't speak properly at all.

working at the ticketing booth was fun, dramafest seems to be popular C:

we put in a lot of hardwork into it, so those of you who are coming,

please appreciate and respect the performance xD

and those who are not coming, please consider coming unless you have other things to do.

the public is allowed to come, so anyone else who wants tickets please notify me.

tomorrow's class excursion to sentosa. i was freaking out, and facing him with my back,

because since i cut my hair, he probably wouldn't recognise me xD

he looks, how do i put this, oh i don't know. different.

can't wait for the class excursion tomorrow! bringing my home-made cookies and hotdogs.

there's gonna be a picnic xDwheeeeeeeeeeee.

it's gonna be fun!

i feel a little guilty, because my dad bought me 3-quarters to wear tomorrow,

and for next time of course, since i only have 2 main pairs of pants/shorts.

but it cost $36.90, i feel so bad.

super exhausted from last night's wedding reception for some relative i don't really know.

i was forced into my new year clothes, which aren't too bad, but are totally red.

then i had to wear red shoes with white polka-dots, which aren't as bad as they sound,

but they are high heels.

how do i express my utmost hate, resentment and detest for high heels.

you get calluses, blisters, abrasions, and if they are worn long-term,

the muscles in your lower thigh will have problems.

like, wtf is so great about high heels that cause girls to gush over them,

spend hundreds and thousands of dollars buying them and wearing them.

give me a pair of ballet pumps any day; i don't even mind crocs,

which by the way is bankrupt. yes. crocs is truly bankrupt, so the shoes are on sale.

my aunt bought me a pair of orange ones xD happy happy.

anyway, back to the subject. high heels suck.

but who knows, someday i might be gushing over a pair,

spending loads of dough on them and wearing them. maybe high heels is a female instinct thing.

back to the reception - so i was wearing that tomato-looking outfit.

i protested, but my mum thought otherwise.

'oh, red means good things mah, then what, wear black there meh.'

-.- we were all ready except her, so i told her to hurry up because we were probably late.

she heck care. 'no lah, we're on time, nevermind.' -.-

we were LATE. horrible.

walked into the room in the middle of the groom/bride's speech.

i thought we would be attending a reception with a large number of people,

therefore - a big room, so we would slip in unnoticed.

but guess what - there were only 8 tables. yes, eight.

my dad wore a freaking tee, thinking he wouldn't be noticed,

but nooooo, it had to be a room with 8 tables. nice job.

but i should have expected it. we were in RAFFLES HOTEL, for god's sake.

expensive expensive place. the whole place used chandeliers instead of regular lights,

and the hotel was furnished like a olden-day-raffles-time thing, so the lift was super slow.

the food was pretty good, not in big portions so you get stuffed,

but the waiters take the dish apart and place equal amounts on plates,
which means you can get to take more or less, which is pretty bad, because i got hungry.

can you imagine? getting hungry eating a wedding dinner.

but the waiters were really nice.

and guess what? we weren't the latest - a couple whose wedding i remember going to

walked in after the second course had been served. talk about being fashionably late.

and i found out that the wife of that couple was pregnant! >:O and wearing a black toga dress too!

my grandma (maternal) was horribly rude. the groom was an ang moh,

so basically the father spoke in english, and my grandma didn't understand,

but no, she didn't just sit quietly and pay some attention, she spoke loudly to my grand-aunt!

in that small room where everyone could hear her!

the table of ang mohs glared at her :O i was sitting at the same table, so i was embarassed D:

the dish i remember the most is the deep-fried prawns with wasabi mayonaise.

it wasn't spicy at all, it just had the smell and taste of wasabi, but not the spiciness.

and the mayonaise was a nice touch, really yummy [;

by the way, i saw this relative of mine who was in a wheelchair,

and i could tell she had had a stroke - part of her face was just hanging, including her tongue.

it broke my heart watching her, and i almost cried. she's so pitiful ...

i told my dad, and he said i had seen her at another wedding before, then i remembered.

almost all the other weddings i had been to - she had been there.

ah i wish she would get better.

the more i imagine how she probably was when she was well, the more i want to cry.

today's booth duty was slack, because bethanie took over my job,

since she liked counting money so much. she should have been secretary (:

posting photos next time - i was obsessed with this blue paper butterfly

which was put on the wine glasses using a slit, so i took many pictures, adjusting here and there.

going to make the photos into a theme.

anyway, i'm going to do the creative writing thing - CAP, and i hope i can get in.

zhixin is trying out with me, so we're going to consult dr. carey on monday,

then go to watch a movie at bugis or something (:

my parents got into a tiff and said things that should not be mentioned in front of children.

i cried and cried like shit.

things have died down, but i'm still worried that what they mentioned is imminent.

going out for lunch later. going to buy hotdogs for the nanyang family outing,

plus the ingredients for the choc chip cookies recipe i found. gonna bake enough for the whole class!

it seems pretty nice and quite credible - many good reviews on it, i think 2100 plus.

hope it will turn out well.
